For years people have been touting the benefits of the Float Plan, yet many people fail to file one, or even know what they are. A Float Plan, simply put, is an information sheet about you, your vessel, and the people aboard.

Once you have the Float Plan document, you distribute it to your contacts. In the event that you don't check-in with them at or before the appropriate times they are there to notify the authorities.

Our site allows you keep a record of your Float Plan online, keep it editable, and to print and distribute copies. Your Float Plan along with other safety measures (Cruising Safety Tips) is an invaluable part of your vessel safety equipment.

We also, at your request, will monitor your progress and be your check-in point. Sign-up is free, and so is creating your Float Plan. There are NO fees associated with this service.

Sometimes it's difficult to get to a computer where you can post a check-in with our site, so here we go again. We just finished a Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) version of this site. This version is available from your cellular phone, and other handheld devices, and allows you to check-in via your equipments internet capabilities. This is just one more way that we are trying to keep you connected. Currently you can Check-In, Change Passwords, and view the Emergency Procedures, but keep your eyes on the skies because we will be adding more features very soon.
