Concerns

Proceed only if you're concerned for the safety or welfare of any persons on board a vessel for which you have the Float Plan. Ask yourself these questions before proceeding:

  • Is the vessel overdue for check-in?
  • Does the skipper make a habit of checking in late?
  • Do you have knowledge of the vessel being in distress?
  • Do you have knowledge of persons aboard the vessel being in distress?
